Alchemy Brands

alchemygothic
Alchemy Gothic is the brand name assigned to any licensed products based on Alchemy’s original, traditional gothic and ‘goth’ style subjects, including Medieval to Victorian historical, supernatural & occult, mythical & legendary, (fantasy), etc, themes, subjects, characters and images and predominantly, (though not always) rendered as, or edited from, the original full colour illustrations.
  • Products licensed under the Alchemy Gothic brand will be largely unadulterated reproductions of the original art, or else copies of The Alchemy Studio’s own published variations, and rendered upon hi-quality, objective grounds where the art itself is the principle subject, (e.g. posters, stationary, canvases, calendars, ‘official’ T-shirts, phone downloads, etc).

A7 is the brand name allocated to products visually based upon the Alchemy Gothic brand, or its characters and themes and/or decorated with Alchemy Gothic artwork and designs, but are products not originated by The Alchemy Studios themselves and which are either:
  • Commonly available, foreign-made generic products printed or otherwise embellished with licensed Alchemy property, or…
  • Products designed, interpreted and/or crafted largely or entirely at the hands of the Licensee, while still being based upon original Alchemy property.
Alchemy UL13 is the Alchemy brand defining and exemplifying contemporary, urban Rock n' Roll. Alchemy are currently, (Spring 2008), working on a brand new collection of ‘UL13’ jewellery and accessories, a 100% male-orientated range specifically designed for 'lads', (rock n' rollers, bikers, contemporary urban male youth culture, etc) - simple but cutting-edge pendants on leather cords, dog tags and masculine chain-chokers, wallet chains, buckles, bracelets and leather wristbands, etc - no crystals or unnecessary frills.
  • These accessories and their inspirational, original artwork are all based on the retro themes of traditional tattoo images, skulls, flames, dice and poker cards, 1940's-50's pin-ups, tribal, oriental dragons, etc, etc, but all with a distinctive, Alchemy flavour. This new brand and collection absolutely distinguishes the two closely related, but otherwise quite different Alchemy markets!
  • Among other significant licensees such as Spain’s Outer Vision, a partnership between the two European distribution giants, EMP and Bioworld are currently developing a new UL13 vintage clothing collection, for introduction later in 2008.

Alchemy England is the brand name under which limited, exclusive collections of contemporary, alternative fashion clothing, footwear and other dark fashion related ranges are to be developed and marketed. These special collections are either wholly created by Alchemy and their guest fashion apparel designers, or else are designed and directed by The Alchemy Studios in association with each licensee, while all being produced and distributed under licensed partnership by the select third parties.
